From the non-profit organization that brought you Duryea Dayβ¦ the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles presents, A Mighty Museum Celebration! As we all know the pandemic has affected many businesses, especially non-profit organizations like ours. Because of the ongoing and steadfast support from our Members, we are open and actively preserving Pennsylvaniaβs transportation history.
Please join us on Saturday, November 6th, 2021, from 11 am to 4 pm to celebrate! In addition to some special βthank yousβ for our wonderful Members, we will be unveiling our brand-new faΓ§ade. Our faΓ§ade project is one of the biggest in our history and we cannot wait to show you our new βfaceβ. This event will also feature a vehicle βtimelineβ; exhibiting vehicles from 1880 to present day, a performance by the Irish Anvil (in conjunction with our newest acquisition, the Mighty Atomβs 1938 Dodge truck), live silhouette cutting, refreshments, and activities for all.Β
ADMISSION to enter the Museum is $5. Children 15 & under are free. Become a member and save! Click HERE. The Museum will be open for the entire length of this event. This event will take place in our large parking lot as well as our small Hafer Building lot, across the street from the Museum. See below for a timeline of the dayβs events. TIMELINE
11:00 a.m- We unveil our brand-new façade.
12 noon- Memberβs βthank youβ portion begins.
1:30 p.m- The community is invited as we present our newest acquisition, The Mighty Atomβs 1938 Dodge Truck. The Irish Anvil, a local strongman, will be performing. Other performers include a stilt-walker and old-fashioned clown.
1:30 p.m-4:00 p.m- Food will be available for purchase from Cdβs Place
Catering & Eatery. Mocktails and beverages of all kinds will be available from Stirrups Mobile Bar Co. Entertainment will include, live blacksmithing in our 1872 Carriage Factory, KooKoo the Cartoon Magician, face painting, henna tattoos, balloon art, live silhouette cutting (this is neat!), and much more!
