The Museum will be CLOSED on Friday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. We'll see you Saturday, July 5 for regular hours - 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Come in and see early and experimental engines from Pennsylvania vehicles built right here in our backyard! Docents will be available throughout the gallery and Carriage Factory to answer your questions. On Saturday ONLY, our mechanics will fire up a few select vehicles so you can hear them run! This event is included with your Museum Contribution.

Meet at the Museum TONIGHT @ 4PM for a low-key cru Meet at the Museum TONIGHT @ 4PM for a low-key cruise-in! Held in the Museum parking lot, adjacent to the Museum entrance. No registration required. This event is FREE for both vehicles cruising in and spectators. The Museum will be OPEN with extended hours; regular contribution rates apply.
Then and now...the Museum's "loft"! The loft now s Then and now...the Museum's "loft"! The loft now serves as artifact storage and is presently part of an archival project designed to properly categorize and store some of the Museum's smaller artifacts, including bicycle rims and tires, model cars, cutaways, car parts, local Boyertown memorabilia, horse tack, antique tools, antique phones and vacuum cleaners, lots of framed photos and a 3D model made by Museum Founder, Paul Hafer, revealing his vision for the BABW. Museum staffer Felicia Schrader and a team of volunteers are hard at work labeling each artifact and entering them into an index for easy searchability. ๐Ÿ‘

Have you heard? You can now get the new Pennsylvan Have you heard? You can now get the new Pennsylvania plate! According to PennDOT, just complete form MV-44LB, check the box for the new Liberty Bell plate, and mail it in along with your $13 replacement fee. 

This new plate sees the keystone, which was first featured in PA plates around 1910, replaced by the Liberty Bell. The keystone disappeared in the 1930s, eventually reappearing in the 1950s. For more PA plate history, stop in to see the Museum's collection!

Just a reminder for all the folks looking to make plans this weekend - we're CLOSED on Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day. Open regular hours (9:30am - 4:00pm) on Saturday and Sunday.

Join us at the Museum for Horse Drawn History Day Join us at the Museum for Horse Drawn History Day ๐Ÿด on Saturday, May 17 from 3 - 7 PM! This event will feature hands-on activities celebrating horse-drawn vehicles and their history, blacksmithing demonstrations, historical presentations (3:30 pm & 5:30 pm), and photo opportunities inside one of the Museum's carriages! The Museum will be open with extended hours. Regular contribution rates apply.
