The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is the GOLD winner for Philly's Favorite Museum! Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to vote for us! We're exceptionally grateful for your support and are SO excited for this win. That makes two years in a row!
Last night we hosted our friends and volunteers fo Last night we hosted our friends and volunteers for the Museum's annual Appreciation Dinner. Over the last 12 months, our volunteers have given the Museum over 5,000 hours of their time. We are so grateful to each and every one of them for their dedication to the Museum and its Mission. We couldn't do this without you!

The Museum will be CLOSED on April 5th for the Easter Holiday. Please, enjoy safe celebrations, everyone! We'll see you on Monday, April 6th, for regular hours (9:30am - 4:00 pm).
Visit the Museum on Tuesday, February 17 from 10 a Visit the Museum on Tuesday, February 17 from 10 am - 1 pm and enjoy a fresh fastnacht in the famous Fegely's Reading Diner! Just 25 cents for a fastnacht and 5 cents for a cup of coffee!

As always, docents will be available throughout the gallery to answer any of your questions! This event is included with your regular contribution.

Plan to visit the Museum on Saturday, December 6, Plan to visit the Museum on Saturday, December 6, from 5 – 8:30 pm for Rockin’ Around the Museum – a festive celebration honoring the Museum’s 60th Anniversary. The Museum opened in December 1965 and has been committed to preserving PA’s Transportation Heritage ever since. As part of the celebration, the Museum will be unveiling one of its newest acquisitions. Shhh...it's a secret! We hope to see you there!

1967 MARS-II on its first low-speed run! This elec 1967 MARS-II on its first low-speed run! This electric vehicle was based on the 1967 Renault R10 and was built by Electric Fuel Propulsion of Detroit. This is one of eight delivered to Pennsylvania Power and Light (PP&L). A total of forty-five MARS-IIs were manufactured, primarily delivered to US electric utilities. 

The driver here is Don Young, who kindly donated his vehicle to the Museum. Our volunteer mechanics have been hard at work on this one 👏

THURSDAY - Enjoy light refreshments and a special after-hours look at our newest exhibit, Better Built Bodies: A Century of Vehicle Craftsmanship. Enjoy a special tour from former Body Works employee and Board President, Bob Dare. 5:30-7:30 pm
FRIDAY - special crafts and activities for your kids. 
SATURDAY - special crafts and activities for your kids, FREE admission to the Museum, and blacksmithing demonstrations. 
SUNDAY - special crafts and activities for your kids (all day) and cartoon caricatures by Alan MacBain (11 am - 3 pm)

The Museum's 59th Annual Duryea Day Antique & Clas The Museum's 59th Annual Duryea Day Antique & Classic Car & Truck Show and Flea Market will be held Saturday, August 30 from 9 AM to 3 PM at Boyertown Community Park. Hundreds of vehicles will be on display throughout the park, and shuttle service is available between the Park and Museum through the duration of the event. Day-of-show registration for show vehicles available—all makes, models, and years are welcome.

Spectator admission is $10 for adults, free for ages 12 & under. Spectator admission includes both the Park and Museum.

The 59th Annual Duryea Day is sponsored locally by Truist, Gabelsville Athletic Association, Quigley Bus Service, Morell Funeral Home, Camping World, Shankweiler’s Drive-In Theatre, Mister Softee, Tower Health, and Suburban Water Technology.

The Museum will be closed on Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day. We will resume regular hours (9:30 am - 4:00 pm) on Tuesday. See you then!
